About the Event
Equip young adventurers with the confidence and skills they need to stay safe and capable in the outdoors! In this hands-on, fast-paced workshop, teens learn essential wilderness survival techniques and age-appropriate first aid skills that empower them to think clearly, stay calm and take care of themselves and others on the trail. Participants will practice key survival priorities-shelter building basics, water safety considerations and how to stay warm and dry in changing conditions. They will also learn practical first aid topics such as wound care, bleeding control, recognizing hypothermia/heat illness and when to call for help. Registration due July 16
