Policy for Accepting Events to Get Out There Boise Calender

 

Entities and organizations seeking to promote events or recurring activities for Boise-area middle/junior high and high-school-aged youth are invited to submit their events using this form.

 

Please note Communities for Youth Boise and the Communities for Youth Treasure Valley Teen Action Team retain ultimate discretion for what events, activities, programs, and other opportunities get featured. We prioritize “youth-friendly” events that do the following:

 

• Are aimed at or have a specific programming element or other activities aimed at teenagers. This means event/activity organizers have thought through what will be fun and

• Account for health, safety, and developmental needs of teenagers or specific groups of teens.

• Prioritize youth connection to self, peers, family, or community (e.g., people like safe trusted adults, community institutions like

• Incorporate some kind of activity that specifically helps youth who are new to an event or activity to meet and engage with peers or other attendees.
